The core objective of an Associate Degree Program in Network & Telecom is to provide
students with foundational knowledge and skills in the field of computer networks and
telecommunications. The program aims to prepare students for entry-level positions in network
administration, telecommunications, or related fields.
The course contents and structure of an Associate Degree Program in Network & Telecom may
include the following subjects:
o Introduction to Computer Networks
o Network Protocols and Communications
o Network Security
o Network Administration and Management
o Wireless Networks
o Telecommunication Technologies
o Voice over IP (VoIP)
o Data Center Networking
o Network Troubleshooting and Support
o Network Design and Implementation
An Associate Degree Program typically consists of around 60 credit hours, which are
distributed over two years or four semesters.
With an Associate Degree in Network & Telecom, graduates can seek entry-level positions in
the IT and telecommunications industry. Job opportunities may include network technician,
network administrator, telecommunications specialist, and technical support specialist.
The duration of the ADP is two years.
Candidates who have completed their intermediate education (12 years of schooling) or
equivalent are eligible to apply for admission.
Admission Decisions: Admission decisions will be communicated by August 30, 2023.
Deadline for Acceptance of Offer: The deadline for accepting the admission offer is September 05, 2023.
Orientation Week: The orientation week will start from September 26, 2023.
Classes Begin: Classes will begin on September 28, 2023.
